Acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most commonly used forms of medicine in the world. Originating in China more than 2,500 years ago, acupuncture is currently one of the most thoroughly researched, practiced, and respected forms of complementary medicine available anywhere.
According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, your overall health is determined by the quality of the Qi (energy) flow through the natural pathways of your body (meridians). Acupuncture uses a variety of techniques, including placing very thin sterile needles into specific points on the body, to stimulate and improve your Qi flow. The many benefits of acupuncture include:
- Pain reduction
- Stress and tension relief
- Increased energy levels
- Stronger digestion
- Relief from bad habits
- Greater sense of overall health and well-being
- Headaches/Migraines
- Allergies
- Skeletal Muscular pains
- Arthritis
- Sleep issues
- Injuries
- Reproductive issues
-
Conduction of electromagnetic signals. Evidence suggests that acupuncture points are strategic conductors of electromagnetic signals. Stimulating these points enables electromagnetic signals to be relayed at greater-than-normal rates. These signals may start the flow of pain-killing biochemicals, such as endorphins, or release immune system cells to specific body sites.
-
Activation of the body's natural opioid system. Considerable research supports the claim that acupuncture releases opioids, synthetic or naturally-occurring chemicals in the brain that may reduce pain or induce sleep. These chemicals may explain acupuncture's pain-relieving effects.
-
Stimulation of the hypothalamus and the pituitary gland. Joined at the base of the brain, the hypothalamus and pituitary glands are responsible for many body functions. The hypothalamus activates and controls part of the nervous system, the endocrine processes, and many bodily functions, such as sleep, regulation of temperature, and appetite. The pituitary gland supplies some of the body's needed hormones. Stimulation of these glands can result in a broad spectrum of effects on various body systems.
-
Change in the secretion of neurotransmitters and neurohormones. Studies suggest that acupuncture may alter brain chemistry in a positive way. This is accomplished by changing the release of neurotransmitters (biochemical substances that stimulate or inhibit nerve impulses) and neurohormones (naturally-occurring chemical substances that can change the structure or function, or impact the activity of, a body organ).
Spectral Light Therapy
Light Thereapy moves qi and directly enter the channels. There are several studies that have used red/NIR light on meridian/acupuncture points and shown results in the improvement of health. Light Therapy is shown to have similar effect as needling in that it brings blood and qi to that area.
Spectral Light Therapy in a western viewpoint will stimulate ATP production in the mitochondria through interreacting with a photoreceptor called cytochrome c oxidase. This will increase the proton electrochemical potential, more ATP synthesis, increased RNA and protein synthesis and increases in oxygen consumption, membrane potential, and enhanced synthesis of NADH and ATP.
Used in facial Rejuvination it IMPROVES SKIN HEALTH:
• increases collagen production in the skin, which gives the skin its
elasticity
• increases fibroblast production, which helps produce collagen and
other tissue fibers• Increases circulation between blood and tissue cells
• Protects cells from damage
• Increases mRNA in the cells, which helps stimulate the cell• improves facial texture
• reduces fine lines
• reduces wrinkle severity
Decreases Pain as it stimulates the flow of blood and Qi.
We provide Spectral Light Therapy with:
• RED WAVELENGTH: Cell regeneration, increases Oxygen in the blood, eases pain, enhances energy, promotes collagen, and improves wrinkles.

Chinese Herbology
Chinese herbal medicine is a 2,000 year old tradition using naturally occurring substances — including herbs — to enhance one's health and vitality. As opposed to Western medicine, the foundation of this approach is to support the body's natural self-healing mechanisms and abilities.
Since each patient has different needs, I carefully select and combine a variety of herbs that will synergistically blend together to achieve optimal results for your unique situation. I prescribe high-quality, professional-grade herbal medicines that are available only to qualified licensed professionals.
Electroacupuncture
Electroacupuncture is a highly effective holistic treatment for pain, nausea, and chronic ailments. In practice, it is actually very similar to traditional acupuncture. Using the exact same system of Chinese Medicine, I insert very thin and sterile needles into specific points along the meridians of your body. I then attach the needles to a device that delivers gentle electrical pulses between two points. This helps restore the healthy flow of Qi (energy) through your body, removing any blockages and clearing out stagnant areas, thus creating a stronger and clearer experience of health and well-being.
TDP Lamp
The TDP Lamp is a modern day form of heat therapy that utilizes a mineral stone to generate heat for pain relief.
